Flag of Navajo The Navajo, as one of the seven major powers of the West Coast, has a unique national focus tree.


The Navajo national focus tree can be divided into 3 branches and 5 Sub-Branches:

The History of the People Branch
This branch allows the Navajo to determine their starting ideological, political, and economic focuses through resulting events, eventually unlocking the other branches and sub-branches of the nation.
  • Remember When They Called us Tribals? Sub-branch
The American Indian sub-branch. It focuses on negotiating and working with nearby American Indian nations in order to benefit the Navajo by way of economic and political means.
  • The Navajo Scouts Sub-branch
The Navajo army sub-branch. It focuses on giving national spirits, additional manpower, and more advanced equipment, to the Navajo's military force.
  • The Three Sisters Sub-branch
The Navajo industrial sub-branch. It focuses on increasing agricultural, electrical, and economic production.
  • The Reservation System Sub-branch
The Navajo-The Reservation sub-branch. It focuses on investigating the nearby nation of The Reservation, either gaining a war goal against the nation or guaranteeing them as an ally.
I Will Fight Some More Forever Branch
This Branch guarantees the Navajo will resist against Caesar's Legion and their Legion puppet status, culminating in gaining a war goal against the Legion.
The Best Tribe in the Legion Branch
This Branch guarantees the Navajo will continue their Legion affiliation, eventually resulting in becoming a nation equal to, or independent from, Caesar's Legion.
  • Plains Sign Language Sub-branch
The Navajo research sub-branch. Unlocked by siding with the Legion or resisting them, the sub-branch focuses in increasing research bonuses and adding a research slot.
The Dream of Dinétah Branch
The conclusion of the Navajo national focus tree, focusing on nearby nations, specifically the Iron Lines, Foragers, and Ciphers.


The History of the People Branch

Others claim the Navajo immigrated to the American southwest in the 1400s. The wisest of the People know both are true.

Gets event The People's Riches. The years before the Great War were difficult for the Navajo. Although mining and economic devleopment brought prosperity, many in America saw the Navajo Reservation as land to exploit.

Gets event The Friend of Rome. The Great War did not spare the Navajo, but they survived in the new world where many did not. A common culture, and being spared the worst of the bombs, let the Navajo rebuild when others fell to hunger, raiders, or their own base instincts. The Navajo Scouts repelled Arizona slavers, their goats and brahmin multiplied, and their silversmiths turned towards metalwork for their own use. Until the Legion arrived.

The Yakama hold on in eastern Washington; the Uintah command lands of Eastern Utah; and, well, we don't talk about the Cherokee. Each one is a different people, but each recognizes that it wasn't their ancestors who dropped the bombs.

Army Experience: +20. The Navajo served as scouts during America's Indian wars, and returned to that role in the Wasteland. This tradition revived in the aftermath of the Great War, as the Navajo used their skills to hunt down bandits and raiders.
Ces generic infantry.png Caesar's Lessons Navajo Gains National Spirit Para Pax Bellum, which grants (War Support: +5.00%, Division Attack on core territory: +10.0%). The People have a complicated relationship with Caesar's Legion, but few can deny there is much to learn from their army. For now.
Pal drug followup.png Help from the Medicine Men Navajo Gains National Spirit Medicine Men, which grants (Infantry Equipment: Soft attack: +5%, Divisions speed: +5.00%, Division Attrition: -15.0%, Division Attack: +5.0%). It is not enough to learn to kill the enemy. The People also learn to process the grief that comes with war; the smell of the dead, their rotting corpses. We can encourage our warriors to speak to medicine men about what they have seen, and conduct prayer songs and the Enemy Way Ceremony, and use peyote with other veterans to come to terms.

We tell stories of creatures who twist magic to evil, changing shape. But in this fallen world, we have adopted their mantle to scare our enemies. Is that coyote in the bushes? Manpower +500. Navajo women served in the US armed forces before the Great War, and continued to pick up a rifle after the bombs fell. This causes some discomfort with those in the Legion, but it's hard to argue with the results.

The Three Sisters Sub-branch

Grants The Navajo claims on and a Wargoal for Circle Junction's core territories. The Iron Lines tribe charts the railways of the pre-war railroad, traveling the rails in handcart caravans. Although the Navajo have not historically lived in western Colorado, there's no reason that can't change.
Break Down the Trains Navajo

Grants The Navajo claims on and a Wargoal for The Forager's core territories. Foragers are a vast In-game spellingnumber of paroled and escaped convicts, living in the lands of Colorado. They ought to pick Dog City apart. And now, after they have been driven out from it by Handogs, they seek to salvage our homelands. It is imperative to take the lands those savages scrap as In-game spellingfast as possible.
New Management Navajo
