The Scorpions were a raider nation in Southern California/Southern Nevada.
Background
The Scorpions were the remnants of a major raider gang that the New California Republic later took down during their expedition to the Mojave Wasteland.[1]
In the current version of the game they do not exist in any capacity, with their former territory being split between the current Mojave Territories and the New California Republic.
Behind the scenes
The Old World Blues interpretation of the gang has them as a major force, later crushed by the NCR on their way to the Mojave, with the remnants forming into the Scorpions gang seen in 2281, which have based themselves out of Monte Carlo Suites, engaging in chem trading and violence with the Fiends.
