The Sleepers are a nation based in Northwest Arizona.

Historical background

A terrifying presence lurks just along the north bank of the Colorado although only a few drugged up Khans have managed to tell the tale of what lies hidden in the shadows beneath Zion National Park. Former disciples of a mad genius the Sleepers continue to lie in wait, patiently expecting his inevitable return and may the wastes pray that the day is still far off.

On March 12, 2253, the second Ballistic Orbital Missile Base (B.O.M.B.) space station experienced a breach, losing all operational capacity of its systems, and resulting in the station plummeting to earth, landing in the center of the Grand Canyon. The breach originated in the weapons bay, and resulted in radiation flooding into 98% of the station. After booting up the United States Defense System, which had not been accessed in nearly 20 years, the base attempted to contact nearby ground crews.^[1]
