New Reno

Reno is known for little more than the stench of sex and jet fumes. Its dubious abodes are packed full of scum, all crowded around games of dice, cards, and women. Alcohol is the blood that runs through the veins of Reno's denizens.
Families battle for influence within the city and its surroundings. They all have their own goals for the city, but only one can prevail in the grand. Outside Reno's territory the Yakuza attempt to expand what little influence they can find, but their days are numbered.

Isolated and partially shielded by mountains, the city of Reno survived the apocalypse in enough of one piece to be rebuilt as New Reno. By 2275, the dons of the city have made Reno more important and more powerful than it ever was Pre-War, with the only thing able to threaten New Reno being the four groups vying for power within the city itself. New Reno maintains its Ore-War reputation for offering all manner of vice, but the dueling for control of the city by its four powerful families makes it more dangerous than ever.

Behind the scenes
- New Reno is based on the city of the same name, which is featured in Fallout 2, and mentioned in Fallout: New Vegas.
- New Reno was designed by Loonybinjin.[1]
- Loonybinjin's reasoning for certain design decisions stemmed from the following:
- Sergeant Granite, although he was involved in the destruction of the Enclave Oil Rig, effectively redeemed himself by "delivering" the city of New Reno to the Enclave.[2]
- In Old World Blues canon, most of the West Coast Enclave remnants fled to New Reno, as it was outside New California Republic direct influence, with minor precedence of the two working together beforehand.[3]
- Loonybinjin's reasoning for certain design decisions stemmed from the following:

- ↑ Loonybinjin: "I mostly just clean up/rebalance trees, though I designed Troll Warren/New Reno/Vault city. I'm working on the NCR/80's/White Legs."
- Obtained from Discord, 5/24/2017 - ↑ Why is Sgt Granite part of the Enclave Coup, he's the enclave guy famous for switching sides. You can convince him to help kill Horrigan and blow up the base.
Loonybinjin: "Primarily because he's one of only a handful of still living Enclave members. The rough idea is that by delivering the City of New Reno to the Enclave remenants, he's redeemed himself. It's a stretch but for the purposes of gameplay and including some iconic characters, it's one we made."
- Obtained from Discord, 11/12/2018 - ↑ Loonybinjin: "Our headcannon has most of them fleeing to New Reno, as it's outside of the NCR's direct sphere of influence and there was at least minor precident for them working with people from Reno before."
