The Carthaginians, also known as Carthage and The Carthaginian Gang, is a raider gang nation in the Texan region.

Historical background

A civilized raider nation built over the ruins of Carthage, a town built atop a gigantic and largely untapped natural gas reserve. They use flame to do everything, from powering their cities to cooking their enemies alive.[1]Beginning as a gang that utilized the gas reserve to produce flamer fuel, a power grab transformed the gang into a raider nation, comprised of laws, infrastructure, and external rather than internal savagery, sustaining their nation through slavery, weaponry, and power provision, all in exchange for a tax.[2]

  • Monthly Population: -15.0%

All the carthaginians want to do is grill. The screams from their victims may say otherwise but it's best not brought up to the Chef, or you may end up as the next meal. Or not, but still best not to ask.

Gameplay

Conscription Law

It is in the nature of raiders to band together into rapidly moving groups to easier ambush caravans and avoid the would be pursuers, it is also in their nature to fight in between themselves for the position of the leader. As such with the increasing size of the group it becomes harder and harder to keep the raiders focused and united.

Civilised? Like what? they don't eat people and it's more of a terror regime?

Zapdude277: "Think more Pitt oriented. They were originally a very simple gang who just used the gas for flamer fuel, byt after a power grab, the new leader has turned the gang into a nation. Constructing a power grid, instituting law, focusing their savagery outwards rather than inwards. Alongside raiding, they sustain themselves off a kind of protection racket - in return for a tax, they'll guard settlements. From there, they'll offer access to their electricity grid, farms run by slaves, armoury, etc. Curtailing violence inside their area of influence through execution, even if a gang member was involved, has helped stabalise the region and bring the gang to new heights."
