Twin Mothers
Twin Mothers is one of the major factions of the Colorado region. It is led by the God/Machine Diana. Their main enemies include Lanius's Cohort, Circle Junction, Foragers, Claim Jumpers as well as Hang Dogs after the eventual rise of Warden.
Historical background
The tribes of the Wasteland whisper of a goddess who blesses their crops; The more civilized folk tell tales of a presence within the fabled halls of the Nursery, guiding a swarm of robots across Colorado for the 'Betterment of Mankind'. The truth is a little more complicated than either story! Diana Stone, perhaps the greatest scientist to survive the Great War, lives to this day as the leader of a peaceful tribe in Colorado. But change is coming, and the Wasteland cries out for mercy and kindness. Perhaps it is time for her to emerge from her machines and save the world.

Army
Twin Mothers starts with small and unorganised army.
Twin Mothers has access to a template of light robots(12 width light robots) and heavy robots(9 width worth of heavy robots and 6 width worth of light robots = 15 width)
While the core of the army is and will be the robotic templates Twin Mothers has access to a template of Wasteland Amazons (18 width infantry).
This army composition is rather unfortunate as Twin Mothers has very hard time getting army experience as well as manpower in general.
Twin Mothers also get a unique military high command officer Trisha, a logistics expert that however leaves the country the moment it goes to war with any nation of the Caesars legion.
Twin mothers has access to the Tribal Nations conscription law, it only has it's levels renamed.
Economy
Twin mothers start with low amount of factories but relatively high amount of resources (because of their control over Paradise)
Their economy law starts at Peaceful and Prosperous which gives large penalties to construction time as well as utilising 40% of civilian workshops for consumer goods. It can be changed only by a corresponding focus.
The Trade law starts at Discourage Traders.
The Press law starts at muzzle dissent.
Research
Twin Mothers starts with 3 research slots and +11% research speed which can be relatively quickly upgraded to 4 and +26%
Twin Mothers also have access to the tribal tech tree whilst not having the Tribal Nation national spirit as well as access to the Cybernetics tech tree.
While some of their technologies are on tribal level their Engineering, Robotics, Industrial and other trees are in the advanced level or can reach it.
Unique Systems
Paradise
Paradise is a state located at the start of the game in the easternmost part of The Black Canyon territory.
It is the place where the "Goddess Diana" currently resides and as such Twin mothers has full access to its recourses, but their exploitation depends on the level of local infrastructure. Twin mothers has no way to build more infrastructure there (except of the focus Nursery Radar Upgrades) before conquering it.
If for some reason the Twin Mothers is wiped out, it will receive a second chance. It will gain ownership of Paradise and relocate its capital there.
It is possible through a national focus to move half the resources in Twin Mothers to Paradise (this focus will also transition all workshops in Twin Mothers into off-site buildings, removing them from Twin Mothers).
It also lore-wise contains The Nursery itself.
The Nursery
"Hidden away from mankind's madness, its ambition and even the wasteland itself lies the Nursery"
The nursery was built for similar reason as the vaults, it was to protect seeds and plant life from the upcoming apocalypse. It's creator however connected it to Vault 29 in hopes of manipulating Vault-tec's computer overseer ZAX-29 and changing its cruel experiment into a peaceful one, thus creating a peaceful society that would subsequently emerge into the wasteland after the Great War.
It is a sheltered repository , a self sufficient factory, a mainframe, a satellite uplink, and a terraforming facility all in one. It was here where Diana was incarcerated into her new body and from there would she watch over residents of Vault 29, at first only hesitantly and indirectly but later, when the need for it arose, directly. The long years of improper maintenance have however shown on both the Nursery and its satellite array, as well as on Diana herself. Now many of her memories are just faint shadows and shards.
Diana's computational strength
Diana's current computational strength gives her many bonuses scaling with how much processor power Diana has. More can be unlocked through focuses and event decisions.
- Starts at 18% (x = 4,5%)
- + x% PP gain
- + x% factories in state
- + x% production efficiency
Satellite Network size
Diana controls a network of satellites working in unison giving her many bonuses scaling with the number of satellites. More can be unlocked through decisions.
- Starts at 12 (x = 4%)
- + x% Decryption factor
- + x% Air interception atack factor
- + x% Air range factor
- - x% Air accidents factor
- - x% Air weather penalty factor
- - x% Air night penalty factor
Orbit decay rate (starts at 1.2%) the amount of satellites lost every year. Increases with the amount of satellites.
The Factory operations
After corresponding focuses are unlocked Twin Mothers gains The Terraforming effects. Each time Twin Mothers cores (terraforms) a territory a 1d100 is rolled and depending on the outcome an effect is chosen.
- 1-24 +1 water in state
- 25-49 +1 electricity in state
- 50-75 +1 scrap in state
- 76-89 +1 composites in state
- 90-97 +1 circuitry in state
- 98-100 +1 advanced components in state
The Repository operations
Diana is interested in collecting the various creatures of the wastes, unlocking additional research slots and division upgrades in the process. Each DNA sample is received upon completing a specific focus and its effect is available after a subsequent focus.
Vault-tec calling!
Twin Mothers has access to Vault-tec calling! decisions (except Vault 29 decision).
Formable countries
Diana has several options to create self-governing entities either under rule of the people or a member of her "family". These countries will became puppet regimes.
- Boomers (after Contact the Boomers decision)
- COLOSUS (after taking over all of WARDEN's(Hounds of Dae) territories)
- ODYSSEUS (some time after conquering Boulder and having ODYSSEUS' soul national spirit), can be switched over to.

Tips
- (Bug?) It is advised to research the Flamethrower variant of Demolitions equipement, because eventual exploration of Vault 19 wil unlock the Frag grenade tree as well, allowing for double the bonuses to Demolitions battalions and companies.
- It is beneficial to wait with eventual transfer of resources to Paradise as the inability to build infrastructure there ight lead to resource shortages, also moving the resources clears all building slots in Twin Mothers whilst saving the factories increasing the limited building space but waiting a bit might allow you to have more offsite factories as this focus is not needed for further progression in the tree.
