New Vegas
New Vegas is a city rebuilt amidst the remains of pre-War Las Vegas, Southwest Commonwealth. The city's main attraction, the New Vegas Strip, is managed by Robert House, who utilizes his army of Securitron robots to maintain peace and order in the post-War city in the heart of the vast Mojave Desert.
Historical background
Mr. House desires to reclaim the platinum chip to activate his Securitrons within the Vault and upgrade their software. Vegas is filled with snakes, and befittingly it has many people who desire to topple the lofty throne of the Lucky 38. Benny, and the King are the main contenders for the top, each with their own motivations.

According to the lore of the game, the pre-war city of Las Vegas was saved from nuclear destruction thanks to Robert E. House, the CEO of RobCo, who prepared the city for the eventuality of a 3rd World War. The abandonned buildings of Vegas became home to many raider tribes in the decades that followed the Great War, but in 2274, Robert House, who managed to survive thanks to advances cryogenic and medical technologies, took the control of the city with his army of pre-war robots, the securitrons. He then founded New Vegas and proposed to three raiders tribe (the Chairmens, the Omerta and the White Glove Society) to ally with him.

Zusk: "Troll Warren and Lanius's Cohort had most of their focus trees entirely replaced in those respective updates in order to be polished and refined. While the New Vegas and Brotherhood reworks were mostly just some rebalancing and changes to one or two focus tree branches, while leaving most of the respective trees recognizable."
